Gretsch guitars whilst not as popular as Fenders are arguably more notable, and definitely more stylish and noticeable. Their trademark twangy sound is synonymous with early rockabilly and it’s resurgence in the 1980s, which carried on into the nineties with Reverend Horton Heat and other Gretsch players.
